Camping & Caravanning

Caravanning and camping is still one of the most popular ways to holiday, for very good reasons; it’s affordable, very social and just plain fun! But when it’s with BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort it becomes pure luxury. (Whoever invented the terms “Glamping” and “Glamourvanning” must have been staying with us.) It all starts with our stunning sites, each swathed in a lush mini rainforest of palms, fragrant shrubs and rock gardens forming your own private, tranquil retreat. And while our amenities are fabulously appointed, you’ll find the huge kitchen and our many barbecue areas make great spots to socialise, meet new friends and compare travel tales.

Facilities

Camp Kitchen

Glamping at its best … stainless steel benches, hot plates, bbqs, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, huge plasma television and seating for up to 60 people.

Finding the right site for you

At BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort in Airlie Beach, all of our caravan and camp sites are individually landscaped. We have a variety of sizes and shapes, and some of our sites have a concrete slab, while others are fully grassed. All of our sites are bordered by trees and shrubs to afford you privacy.

In order to ensure your caravan, camper trailer, or tent fits on our sites, we need to know its size when you book. When you make your booking, please let us know the full dimensions of your caravan, camper trailer, or tent. And no, there’s no such thing as a “standard size”!

Please take into consideration the drawbar or A-frame, all fold-out annexes and awnings, tent poles and ropes, etc. This ensures we can place you on a site that suits straight away, avoiding any inconveniences on arrival. This is especially important during peak times when the park is likely to be fully booked and changing sites becomes very tricky.
