From the first phone call I made on the road on the way up, where I was treated like a person, not a source of income, at the reception where again we were welcomed, and throughout the stay, the staff are exceptional. I had numerous extensions and cancellations, including a last minute tour cancellation, all performed with brilliant professionalism and thoughtfulness. I need to personally thank Tammy for her consideration when a personal tragedy intervened on my holiday, and the care and consideration she provided us, let alone her professional ability. I shouldn’t identify individuals, as the entire team are perfect. The location is brilliant, the facilities second to none, and best of all for a caravan/cabin park, the staff are brilliant. If any of them decide to move to Sydney (and why would they), I’ll employ them without question. We love Airlie Beach, and the only place to stay is Big 4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort. Recently my family and another family stayed for 10 days in a delux 1 bedroom family cabin at Adventure Whitsunday. From the moment we booked through the website till the moment we left the service of all of your staff was impeccable. Emails were responded to quickly, the check-in was hassle free, all questions were answered with a solution straight away and the staff were kind, friendly, knowledgeable, provided fast service and clearly enjoyed their jobs. It didn’t matter if you were a kid asking for a golf club or a guest staying in the best cabin, everyone was greeted with a smile. In particular I’d like to single out: Joey for her advice and patience when we took forever booking our day trips, Alanah for being wonderful with our kids at Kids Club and at the disco night, Lara for all her help behind the desk, the caretaker (sorry I don’t remember his name) for always saying hello and helping me so quickly one scary night when another guest was behaving so poorly … and everyone, really. The activities were fantastic for our kids, ALL the facilities were ALWAYS clean and easy to use and our cabin was cosy and in perfect working order. There was so much to do onsite that in 10 days we only left the campsite for 3 of them. I really loved your care for the environment with use of environmentally friendly chemicals and the fact I could compost (just a thought, you should show that clearly in the cabins; how to compost and recycle) and the grounds were beautiful. My parents recently stayed in one of the most expensive hotels in Australia and had many problems. Big 4 were just amazing by comparison. I have told many of my friends; I’ll be posting this letter on facebook… I’ll never stay anywhere else in Australia with my family when traveling. Thank you!!
