Tiger mums relax at BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort

As Tigerair starts flights direct from Sydney to the Whitsunday Coast from Tuesday, April 1 2014, all Tiger mums can relax the discipline a bit and start planning a low cost, autumn break at BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort in Airlie Beach.

Combined with the start of the April school holidays, BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort is also holding Grandparents Week from Monday, April 7 to Friday April 11, 2014 allowing the extended family to enjoy a holiday together and some wonderful activities in tropical paradise.

With school out for first term and 10 hectares of resort to roam each day, kids are kept busy from sunrise to sunset. Kite making/flying, photo trails, beading and scavenger hunts set the tone for the kids while adults can enjoy poolside massages, tennis, mini-golf, bingo and movie nights. Other special events during the week include “Battle of the Granny & Gramps”, park olympics, family portraits and roast dinner night.

Resort owner Naomi McKinnon said, “our aim is to give the whole family a wonderful, memorable holiday. There is no doubt that one of the most common comments we get from parents is that “the kids were kept so busy and happy, that was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had!”
