The 26th edition of the Annual Airlie Beach Triathlon is back and is once again set to be a highlight on the North Queensland triathlon calendar.
This year’s event takes place in the stunning Whitsundays in August, with average temperatures around 24°C, ideal for athletes and spectators alike. With daily flights into Proserpine or Hamilton Island, it’s a perfect chance to combine a sporting weekend with a Whitsundays getaway.
The triathlon caters to all levels, offering both a sprint distance and the flagship standard distance, so there’s something for everyone – from first-timers and age-group competitors to seasoned pros and teams.
