2025 Curated Exhibition Open to Artists residing in the Great Barrier Reef Region

Theme: “Tides of Connection”

This theme explores the profound ways in which the Great Barrier Reef connects people, nature, and culture. It can focus on the interconnectedness of marine ecosystems, the bond between humans and the ocean, and the ties between past, present, and the future of the reef.

This exhibition is open to all artists residing in the Great Barrier Reef Region (coastal residents from Agnes Waters to Cooktown) are invited to participate. Entries, encompassing 2D (excluding photographs) and 3D mediums, should creatively respond to the theme: “Whitsundays Wonders, Above and Below the Surface.”

The call for entries commences on April 7, 2025, and concludes on June 30, 2024. The chosen artworks, recognised as finalists, will grace the Exhibition room at the Whitsunday Sailing Club from July 31 to August 4.
