BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort has won over 60 local, state and national tourism awards since 1996. Not to mention our consistent inclusion on Top Ten lists such as Holidays With Kids and Out & About With Kids.

We were proudly recognised at the 2025 Whitsunday Tourism Awards, winning Gold in the Caravan & Holiday Parks category.

Following Gold wins at the Whitsunday, Queensland, and Australian Tourism Awards in 2024 – and subsequent induction into the Hall of Fame at local, state, and national levels – our current Hall of Fame status means that we are unable to enter the Queensland Tourism Awards in the Caravan & Holiday Parks category for two years, but we’ll proudly watch and cheer our peers from the side throughout 2025 and 2026!

2024 also saw us awarded GOLD at the Whitsunday and Queensland Tourism Awards for Excellence in Accessible Tourism, reflecting the quality, inclusive holiday resort we offer for everyone.
