The Whitsundays has an extensive array of maxi yachts, modern catamarans and traditional tallships for overnight sailing. You can take an active part in the sailing or you can lie back and relax and let the crew do the work. Tours last from 1 to 6 nights and offer varying accommodation from open plan bunks to private ensuited cabins. They include all meals and snorkelling and some offer diving as an optional extra. Skipper yourself bareboat charters

‘Bareboating’ is the term used for skipper yourself charters. A variety of operators in the Whitsundays provide a flotilla of yachts, catamarans and motor cruisers of varying sizes for bareboat charter. While you don’t require a licence, to get the most out of the bareboat experience, at least one of your party should have some boating experience.
