January is for kids at BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort

From 06-10 January 2014, BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort has a very special ‘Let’s Dance’ Workshop with well-known Australian dancer Sally Hare. All kids workshops are free to in-house guests, running every day for five days.

Sally Hare leads 'Let's Dance' workshops at BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday ResortSally Hare, who toured Australia with the musical ‘Fame’ and also competed in the TV show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, has an illustrious career having danced for Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem, Olivia Newton John, Samantha Jade, Sam and the Whomp, Short Stack and Timomatic. Sally will be running morning and afternoon sessions for varying age groups throughout the week.  The classes will be energetic, fun and include a variety of dance routines and great music.

Resort owner Naomi McKinnon says, “we are very excited to have Sally leading this workshop in January and it is a wonderful opportunity for kids to work with a true professional. These workshops are so popular as all kids seem to just love to dance and spend half their lives in ‘imaginary auditions’.  If your kids have happy feet you definitely want to enroll them in this workshop!”

For parents tearing their hair out by the end of the holidays, BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort also does the special “Kids Driving You Nuts” package which runs from 13 – 23 January with kids staying free, heaps of free extras and a massive fun-filled daily activity schedule. The special package includes free Kid’s Club (1 session per child per three night stay), one free pedal Kart Hire (one free hour per child per three night stay), free mini golf and tennis and Kids Eat Free at selected local restaurants. This is a great way to have a local holiday for all the family, without breaking the bank.
